REPS, LLC is seeking a loan processor for a private money lender for real estate investors. This is NOT an FNMA/FHA consumer loan business. Experience with consumer loans is a plus. Fairmount Funding, LLC is a newly formed private lender looking to extend our success working with real estate investors in the Philadelphia area and push our boundaries and increase our production volume.

The loan processor will verify and organize all the documentation required to approve a loan. The loan processor will be responsible for reviewing loan applications, checking credit histories, verifying employment and income information, and ensuring that all the necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

We need a loan processor who will ensure that loans are processed in a timely and accurate manner, all necessary documentation is in place and all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

This position is only open to a full-time job and long-term career!

Responsibilities:

Perform initial appraisal of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications.
Assess the credit standings of applicants through background research.
Interview applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans or mortgages.
Conclude all applicable financial and non-financial criteria and develop loan repayment plans.
Follow up with clients to clarify important points.
Give the “green light” to eligible candidates and report decisions with sound arguments.
Finalize loan contracts and keep clients informed about rules and obligations.
Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services.
Create and renew records.
Identify customer needs, explore all options, and suggest different types of loans.
Cultivate trustworthy referral networks, suggest alternate channels, and cross-sell products and services.
Forge trust relationships and enhance customer dedication.
Work within established regulations and adhere to law requirements at all times.

Requirements:

College level preferred in a related subject, like finance, banking, or business.
Minimum 5 years of proven working experience in a Loan Processor role. Experience with consumer loans is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate, including MS Office Suite, loan tracking systems, etc.
